"Bed full of hair"

The sheets in my bed were covered in black hair and smelled musty. I'm disgusted that they couldn't even put clean sheets on the bed after the person before me checked out. The rest of the room looked clean but I felt dirty my entire stay.

"Budget Friendly for the Strip"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

Stayed at the Luxor hotel in one of the newer upgraded rooms and I must say it was decent for the price. The customer service was wonderful! Jeanne one of the front desk agents was exceptional and very helpful and so pleasant. They have 3 or 4 Starbucks in the hotel, but if you are trying to stay on a budget, having coffee makers in the rooms would be helpful. I did eat at the Luxor buffet and would probably save that money and eat elsewhere. It did not wow, but not bad, there is a food court to buy food. For a hotel on the strip, it is more budget friendly than other hotels. I would recommend the Luxor upgraded rooms, not sure what the older rooms look like.

The location was best. The staff was very friendly. This is a doable casino and some of the over the top ones area just overwhelming. You can get around and not feel tired. Easy access to the 2 nearby casinos is a plus. Excalibur and Mandalay Bay.

"Older rooms rundown..remodeled rooms okay"

Rooms in the Pyramid section that have not been remodeled are terrible, rundown, peeling wallpaper dark and very old...overall hotel look has the appearance of a very old hotel that has seen better days, elevators are clunky and very slow with fiberboard and tape covering many of the walls that obviously are damaged...would never stay there again...
