Fun atmosphere at this hotel. Many places to eat and shop within the hotel property. My group especially enjoyed the pool. I would recommend getting to pool earlier in the day so you are able to get chairs where you like. For a special treat, you might want to consider renting a pool cabana for the day. We loved it and the customer service was excellent!!!

"Certainly not what it used to be...."

This hotel used to be our #1 choice. Not anymore. It took two room changes to get a reasonably clean room. First room was not vacuumed, second had something that looked like bloody mucus on the edge of the bed. Third room was better, however, there was a small spot on the sheets. My sister requested to have them changed the next day. They were not. No more Prime Rib special at Mr. Lucky’s. Speaking of Mr. Lucky’s, I had 2 drinks there and don’t remember much until am after those drinks. Those were my only two drinks of the day. Thankfully, I was not alone. It didn’t really hit me until I got home, how fortunate I was.

"Off the strip"

Writing on our last day at the Hard Rock. Staying in an HRH suite. 700 square feet. 2 TV's. Large soaker tub. So I checked my bill on the TV after the first day. Showed a charge for taking something from the weight sensor snacks on the bar. We never took anything, just turned a couple. Called downstairs, they took it off without hesitation. 2nd day the TV started going out. 2 hours later a new TV was mounted. Told them the ice machine on 12 was out, couple hours later it was fixed. So things happen but they are quick to fix it. You can take up half a day easy just looking at music memorabilia. I would definitely consider the hotel if you don't want to stay on the strip. One more thing. They have a stereo in the room and you can choose a great list of music to listen to.

"High expectations....but they were not met"

I just got back from a week stay in Vegas. The first part of the week i stayed at the Luxor and decided I would pay a little more and move over to the Hard Rock for 3 nights. I stayed in a King suite in Harmon tower. The first night there I was woken to the light in my room. I had shut the curtains and assumed they were blackout curtains like most hotels have. The light comes in the top all the way across the curtains....and that is a lot of window and curtains. Unfortunately the next two nights the same thing...so i did not get the sleep i had hoped for. The other thing was that there was this sharp whistling sound that I could not figure out. Finally i realized that when the AC came on their was airflow coming through under the door and made this high pitched sound that was so annoying so that added to the lack of sleep in my room. My last day there i came back to the room around 4:30pm only to find that i could not get in my room. The battery to the door had died. I get it that things happen....so i walked down to the concierge. I was told to walk back up and a security guard would let me in. So i walked back up and she met me and confirmed that the battery was dead. she called engineering and we waited and waited. When she called to check...they said it would be 30 minutes. I was not happy and went down again to concierge. She contacted manager and they came earlier than 30 min and i got in. When i got into my room i realized that it had not been cleaned...so obviously the cleaning crew knew the battery did not work but did not report it and left it for me to find out. I let the people know that and they were... "sorry." They offered to come clean but I did not want to leave the room while they cleaned. Staff were friendly and did take care of things but i was just disappointed in the response and sadly i did not get the rest i was hoping for staying in a suite at Hard Rock. I am coming back to vegas next month and I don't know that I will stay here again. Very disappointed as I had high expectations in staying here.

"Average Stay"

My husband and I stayed here for a Staycation. We selected an "HRH King Suite", but were disappointed when we arrived just before 5:00pm and were told they only had two queens available. My husband is 6' 3", 220 pounds and doesn't really fit on a queen, but we didn't want to make a big deal out of it and took the room. The suite was nice and clean and the bathroom does have a big soaking tub, but we were disappointed to see it didn't have jets. The bed was not comfortable at all and the pillows were absolutely awful. I woke up the next morning with a migraine because my neck was so stiff and sore and both my husband and I were tossing and turning all night long. We were also disappointed to find out that the "Nightclub" was not open on a Friday night and hotel staff actually told us it really only opens for events. We did eat at MB Steakhouse (reviewed separately) and that was delicious. Overall, I would say it was an average stay. I'm sure we'll return, but only for a great room deal. Otherwise, there are plenty of other hotels in town I would choose first.
