"Best evening out of Vegas!"

The sunset ride was great, even on a cloudy night. We were picked up on time by James who was a very courteous and competent driver and cook. Caesar and Gecko led the ride. After brief instructions, we were off to the trail with frequent checks by our guides making sure everyone was doing well. After a good meal, our group of strangers had an amazingly fun chat around the campfire. The only thing I would have changed would be soap and water rather than sanitizer handwash after horse and Portajohn exposures. This experience will be a very happy memory!

From start to finish, this was an amazing experience. The shuttle picked us up and took us to the location, although we could have also driven ourselves. We didn't the dinner ride. We started off by leaning a few basics about riding a horse and then did a nice slow trail ride for about 90 minutes while the sun set. After that was a wonderful dinner and fire. Thanks to Caesar, Gecko, and Denny for the best part of my Las Vegas vacation.

"Sunset Dinner Ride"

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Las Vegas. My friend and I took the Sunset Dinner Ride on the 13th September. My friend was very nervous as she is not really a rider and was put at ease from the start by the very helpful Cesar and Gecko. We were matched up with our horses and started out on a very hot dusty trail. I have ridden a lot before but not western so this was a new experience for me and great fun. Cesar went down the line of riders making sure everything was okay. He took time to put my friend at ease and took her mind of her fears by videoing her riding along, a great boost and something for her to remember her experience. Before long I discovered my horse was a little lame. This held things up a little, but after a few minutes Cesar decided the best thing to do was to give me his lovely horse and take mine back for a replacement. Thank you Cesar for entrusting me with your best friend (sorry I cannot now remember his name) I had a great time with him. We rode a circular trail and by the time we turned back it was getting dark with an added bonus of a lightning storm. For me this was quite fantastic and so atmospheric. There was half-light, string of horses and riders, thunder, lightning and a string of horses in silhouette in front of me. Unfortunately my camera could not capture the scene. On return we were served our dinner by James. What a cook, one of the best steaks I have tasted with baked potato and corn on the cob, followed by apple pie, delicious. For us this was an excellent experience for a novice rider. The facilities were rustic but added to the experience. No riders are looked after well, the staff are brilliant and the horses well looked after.
