The company who taxi you from the hotel to Red Rock don't own and run the trail. Review of this company is poor, our original pick up time was Thursday but we were left stranded at the hotel. Twice when confirming the pick up point I stressed the bus plaza and three times I was told yes, we were fortunate to be able to re book for our last morning and be picked up at the reception, this was accomplished BUT another couple were left stranded at the bus plaza? the bus plaza is only 50 yards away from the front door but the driver would not make that short journey to pick up the stranded couple the same as he had left us 50 yards away two days before. The horse riding was fantastic and made up for all the trouble caused by the tour company. the horses were well fed and behaved and the ranchers were patient and friendly and deserve 5 out of 5 but the tour/bus company deserve zero for CS although we managed to re book so overall a 4

This tour management is really bad!! The paper saying that the pick up time is 8.00-9.00am, and the driver arrive hotel lobby by 7.40am saying that they didn't see us and he have to leave(And there is no phone call/message/voice message before the trip to inform us that they will pick up that early)and when I ask if he can pick up us at 8.30am, he never say no, he only asked us to wait and he will do reschedule for us. So we just wait and there is no one call back since then. And when we call back few hours later, another person pick up the phone says that the driver couldn't reschedule for the tour and they got nothing to do with this. So we paid more that $270 for nothing.

"take the ride but don't use this tour service"

if this review was about only the ride, the score would be a 5. The cowgirls were helpful and pleasant, very close attention to riders and the experience. it was a short one hour ride, but it takes you through a beautiful spot in the canyon. doesn't matter if your an experienced rider or not, they had options for you. even including safety gear if wanted. Bring your camera. great views for pictures and they will take picture for you with your camera so you can be included. No sales gimack after to get you to buy their pictures. As for the transportation service, it ruined part of the trip. Our pick up time was 7:30. we were contacted several times with updated times and it ended up being an hour late. from there, the next pick up was in another part of the city and the driver couldn't find it right away. we did not get to the ranch on time to take the early ride so they decided to feed us before the ride. we had booked a lunch/ride and ended up getting a breakfast around 10+ am.we went for the ride after that and as i said above that part was great. Part of the advertisement was that you could go to the old west town and zoo as part of the package. Even though we were over an hour late getting there, they did not extend the time on the other end. we had 20 to 30 minutes to see the rest. very poor service if you don't make up the time due to the tour error. said we had to leave on time. we went to go into this part of the tour and were told by the person at the ticket counter it was no longer included in the tour, we had to pay extra. we argued with her and she finally let us in without paying extra but it certainly didn't help the tour ratings.with the shortened time we quickly walked the zoo and did not have time to see any of the shows/activities. Great ride, very poor rest of the excursion. Take the ride in Bonnie Springs but use a different tour operator.

This is the one thing I wanted to do after reading other previews. We had such a great time. Initially I was a little apprehensive but that soon went away. My beauty, Cheyenne, responded to every nudge or pull on the reins. She made the experience truly memorable!
