Description

from Hoover Dam “VIP” Tour
Located in Black Canyon on the Colorado River, the Hoover Dam is the highest structure of its kind in the world. It is an outstanding achievement, noteworthy not only for its enormous dimensions, complex design and intricate construction, but also for it's illustration of man's outstanding ability to overcome the desert's summer sun, the vagaries of a treacherous river, and the extreme hazards of great heights on the chasm's sheer walls.

This tour includes the Visitor Center and Historical Displays, views from the “interior” base of the dam into the Generator Room, the fascinating Hoover Dam Movie, with ample time for breathtaking views from the Top of the Dam, Lake Mead, the world's largest man-made lake, the eastern edge of the chasm in Arizona where you have fabulous views of the dam including Lake Mead. In addition, there are wonderful photo ops of the new Hoover Dam Bridge. Before returning to Las Vegas we stop at a local park where herds of Big Horn Sheep often come down from the surrounding mountains to gather and graze on the sweet grass.

Tour Includes: Unlimited Bottled Water & Snacks.

Tour Times: Pick Up 12 PM to 5:30 PM

As a bucket list item a trip to Death Valley was always going to be great but Marcus and the team made it Awesome. The pace of the tour is spot on taking in all of the highs and lows (pun intended:)) with lots of stops and enough time at each to walk the ground. The 7 seater bus was very comfortable, lunch was great, and the tour appeared to be suitable for most levels of mobility. Clear and informative commentary throughout, thanks Marc.

"6 in 1 Grand Canyon with helicopter #phenominalday!"

We did the 6 in 1 Grand Canyon tour with helicopter and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Paul was our guide and he was very knowledgeable of the area. We got the added bonus of a stop at the welcome to Las Vegas sign. Paul would stop anywhere within reason for you to get your photos. The hoover dam stopover was just enough. We stopped for about 15minutes. I don’t think you would want any longer as there’s not much to do. Stopping at the ranch was good fun. The thing I liked about this trip rather than flying from Vegas was that we had the opportunity to stop and take it all in. The Grand Canyon is a once in a life time trip, and for me, flying straight from Vegas over the top and back again would’ve been over too quick. With this trip you get to see the canyon from eagle point, guano point and then again when you fly into the canyon and get out at the bottom. I spent ages researching various trips (theirs a lot) before we left and I’m so glad I chose this one. The communication from the company was excellent. A continental style breakfast was provided which included a danish, cheese, nuts and orange juice. Lunch was included which was pulled beef or chicken with potatoes, corn and salad so you won’t go hungry! You stop off for a toilet stop in a very poor town called Dolan Springs, please buy something at the shop even if it’s a drink! The tour guide was quick to get us on the mini van but I don’t think you can stop to use someone’s toilet without buying something. Particularly when, for half an hour leading up to the stopover, the guide had been saying how poor the town is and how much water is valued in the area. I hope the company pays the guy (he was really friendly!) for toilet use. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend this trip! A real bucket list ticker!

We had a wonderful adventure with our tour guide Bob as we traveled through the desert exploring petroglyphs, dry lake beds, and of course areas surrounding Area 51! Bob was amazing, very funny and shared so much information and history along the entire tour. Lots of time in the car but it was perfectly planned with stops, snacks, and lunch. Highly recommend for alien adventurers, photographers, and any one looking to get off of the strip for a day.

This was a SPECTACULAR day trip. Chris Jones is an amazing guide! By the end, the 9 of us were like a group of friends who knew each other for years. Timing was perfect to ride the original elevator to the bottom of Hoover Dam, see the Grand Canyon with dramatic contrasts, the visit Joshua Tree National Forest and a perfect sunset on the way back. BRAVO CHRIS 🌞💥☀️👍.
